Using the Trisio 360 Camera

Step 1 – Download and install the Trisio360 app. To do this, search for the Trisio360 app in your phone’s app store and tap Install.
Step 2 – Setting up the tripod. If you haven’t used a tripod before, just twist the screw at the top slightly to loosen it. You can then slide the legs out to make sure they are wide enough to be secure, then retighten the screw in the opposite direction. Pull the lever up to extend the pole and then put the clips back into place to secure it.
Step 3 – Attach the camera to the tripod. To do this, gently screw the small clip from the camera case onto the top of the tripod. When it’s secure, line up the arrow on the camera with the button on the clip and gently slide the camera down into place. Please take care, as the camera is quite delicate.
Step 4 – Turn on the camera. The button is on the side of the camera. It will make a sound when it starts.
Step 5 – Connect the camera to the app.
Step 6 – Place the camera where you expect to get the best all-around shot.
Step 7 – To get used to the camera, start by taking a test image. To do this, click the red button on the app. The camera will complete a ‘metering’ test to start with to prepare. This will only take a couple of seconds to complete. When it is complete, the camera will take the first of four images. When it’s finished, it will play a tune. To access the image you took, click it and select download.
Step 8 – You can now take your first real image. You will need to ensure you are out of the shot so the camera can move to the next angle, and stay behind it as it moves. It’s probably worth taking a few in different locations to ensure you have a good shot. If you have a strong mobile signal, download the image(s) in the app and take a look. To do this, go to the app’s download area and tap the image to download. Once it’s downloaded, you can check the image. Don’t worry about the tripod being in shot; we will remove it in Photoshop.
Step 9 – If you’re happy, turn off the camera by pressing the power button on the side for a few moments.
Step 10 – Disconnect the camera from the tripod by gently unclipping it from the mount and then unscrewing the mount from the tripod. Do not turn the end piece when it’s connected, as this will damage the motor inside. Just press the button and hold it while gently pulling the camera upwards. You do not need to turn or twist it. When it’s been dismantled, pack up the camera and clip it into the case. The camera will automatically turn itself off if it is left on, so it shouldn’t need charging. However, if you use it a lot, you can recharge it with the cable in the box as needed.

Connecting the Microphone to your mobile phone
The mic is in a pouch in the same box as the 360 camera. Just insert one end into your mobile phone and turn on the mic. No need to bluetooth or install and app. If you have an older iPhone you will need to use the adaptor.
